Join us for a few hours to enjoy our beautiful Grand Mesa with our St. Matt's family and friends. Saturday, July 11th we’ll meet at the church at 10:30 to carpool up to the Glacier Springs picnic area. This is near the Mesa Lodge from the Jumbo entrance. The rough plan is to picnic from 11:30 – 1:00 and then those interested in a hike will head out from there for 1-2 hours, others might do some fishing in one of the lakes, others might look for wildflowers, others might read in the great outdoors, others might simply enjoy the beauty of the area by visiting with friends at the picnic area….  Please bring your own chairs, food, drink, bug spray, sunscreen, and appropriate layers of clothing for the altitude. There is an $8 fee per vehicle that parks at the picnic area, but we can shuttle people and supplies from a parking lot near Jumbo Lake that is free. If you have any questions, you can ask Cathy Donahoe or Teri Shecter. Organized by your friends in Creation Care and St. Matts Outdoor Fellowship (SMOF).
