2024 Stewardship Campaign

The time has come to kick off our fall Stewardship season. We set this time aside every year to consider how each of us may give our time, talent, and treasure to support St. Matthew’s. During this season, your stewardship team would like to ask three things of you:

  1. Reflect on and celebrate the wonderful community that is St. Matthew’s.

  2. Recommit to ministries you already are a part of and/or consider joining a new ministry.

  3. Complete your financial pledge to St. Matthew’s for the next year using a paper card or the online form.

During this season, you will hear about various St. Matt’s ministries and requests for volunteers where they are needed. I invite you to prayerfully reflect on joining a new ministry.

We will conclude this season with a blessing of the pledges on Sunday, November 19. Please complete your online or paper pledge cards in time for that blessing.

Ways to Give to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church

  • Cash or check can be placed in the offering plate by using the offering envelopes provided in the pews.  To receive credit for cash donations, an envelope with donor name noted is required.

  • Since many prefer the security and ease of online payments, we’ve set up secure and confidential payment methods that can be used with your credit/debit card, checking or savings account.

PayPal and Tithe.ly are online giving options which charge a transaction fee for their use.  Tithy.ly is recommended by TENS (The Episcopal Network for Stewardship). It is easy to setup and you can give through the app or through the button above.

Both PayPal and Tithe.ly also have the option to set up recurring gifts, and there is a “cover the fee” option which allows you to cover the transaction fees as an extra way to support your church.

Simply click on the button, then click "Donate" to be redirected to our Pay Pal account in order to give using your credit card or debit card, fill in the required fields, click to submit, and you're done! It's secure and no hassle.

If you don't already have a PayPal account you can follow the directions toward the bottom of the page for paying with your credit or debit card, or you can sign up for one (it's free).

  • You can set up an automatic pledge charged to your VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card either through Tithe.ly or PayPal. To set up, use the buttons above and setup an automatic pledge with either organization.

  • Send your contribution to St Matthew’s by mailing your check or debit card information to:

  • Did you know if you are 70 1/2 or older, that you can donate money tax free from your IRA to a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) such as St. Matthew’s. Click here for more information.

  • Do you pay your bills with internet banking? St. Matthew’s will gladly receive donations via an internet bank account, which can automatically be sent weekly or monthly.

We also offer you the option of paying your pledge through automatic deductions from your checking or savings account. This can be set up through your own bill pay system, or Contact Beth Fisher, Parish Administrator at: stmattsfinance@gmail.com or call her at 970-242-3293 for assistance.
