Finding Altars in the World: A congregational sabbatical journey of noticing God in everyday life.

This summer, guided by Barbara Brown Taylor’s Book, An Altar in the World, we will practice noticing God beyond Sunday worship—in nature, creativity, conversation, vocation, silence, and daily life. Join an activity, come to a discussion, read the book (or not), or simply begin looking for the ordinary places where God is already meeting you.

Each week the Evangel will feature a synopsis of a chapter in the book and provide questions for reflection. This week Anna Crickmer Shannon provides a look into Chapter 3 of An Altar in the World.
