 July 27 - Katie and the Players. This group boasts a big sound with powerhouse vocals and vibes- featuring St. Matt’s own Katie Walters on lead vocals; Rob Dasey on lead guitar; Erik Olori on bass; Steve McGarry on drums and background vocals; and Adrian Herrera Escobar on keys. The group encompasses a wide range of cultures and musical backgrounds. Hailing from Louisiana, Columbia, New Hampshire, Nigeria, and Colorado, they are inspired by everything from soul, blues, funk, and jazz to gospel, country, pop, and rock. With their musical powers combined, they bring a big, fresh, soulful sound to the Grand Valley music scene.
