The Practice of Living with Purpose

Using as outline Chapter 7 of “An Altar in the World” by Barbara Brown Taylor, we will discuss what God is calling us to do (“vocation”). We will talk about how what we do to support ourselves may or may not be the Work we are called to do in the world; the real meaning of the often misunderstood Protestant Work Ethic; and incorporate into our discussion the revelatory information I received as a participant in the Vocation as Spiritual Practice discussion group lead by Lyn Fraser and Reenie Neal over the the past two weeks.
