Sundays, January 25th thru February 8th - What Does Being "Anglican" Mean? The Anglican Communion continues to be rocked by issues related to gender identity, of suitability for ordination, and of what it means to be Anglican. The recent election of Sarah Mullaly as the new Archbishop of Canterbury and her confirmation as Archbishop on January 28th have been met with threats of division by some churches of the Communion's Global South and the breakaway Anglican Church of North America, which struggles with crises and scandals of its own. Is there anything that unites us? All of this raises the question "What does being Anglcan mean?" Do the struggles of our history reveal anything about what might be called an Anglican ethos? If so, what are its characteristics? Join us at 9:00 on three successive Sundays, January 25th thru February 8th as we explore our Anglican history, our struggles, and the spirituality that shapes our unique identity within Christendom. Everyone is welcome.
